Why I work for Soapbxx
I love Soapbxx for its dedicated and energetic staff. The diverse range of projects and clientele never cease to interest me. I enjoy the development aspect of working on each website and in the process I find myself really dedicated to the organizations that we are building websites for. There are also lots of opportunites for me to utlize my creativity, which is surprisingly hard to find in most jobs.

My life so far
I was born and raised in Southern California, where I had a passion for art and design as early as elementary school. I always dreamed of going to college on the east coast (possibly from watching too many movies that glorify east coast ivy league campuses, so I attended Sarah Lawrence College, where I primarily studied Art History and Studio Art. I experimented a little with 3-D modeling and graphic design and as a result, many of my paintings have elements of digital art and design. Of course, I fell in love with New York and now reside in Brooklyn with my awesome roommate, Kimmie (lead designer for Soapbxx) and two cats, Fred and Moses.
Things I like and don't like
My main hobbies are painting, bike riding, purchasing art supplies, and consuming as much sushi as I can in one sitting. I like Motown, Audrey Hepburn, Mad Men, Chuck Close, Gerhard Richter, and wandering aimlessly in art museums, such as the MoMA.
Things I don't like include how obscenely expensive art supplies can be, aggressive drivers, aggressive sales people, and decaf coffee.
